NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri announced that all 28 Chief Ministers participated in the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Lahiri described the Governing Council as one of the country's most influential forums, bringing together the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers of all states, and Lieutenant Governors and Administrators of Union Territories. He noted that the full participation of all 28 states contributed significantly to the discussions through insightful suggestions and perspectives.

According to Lahiri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered an extensive address during the meeting, which commenced at around 10 AM and continued until approximately 6:30 PM. The day-long deliberations focused on key developmental priorities, governance reforms, and collaborative efforts between the Centre and states to accelerate India's growth trajectory.

The Governing Council of NITI Aayog serves as the apex platform for cooperative federalism, enabling states and the Union Government to discuss policy initiatives and development strategies aimed at achieving inclusive and sustainable growth.
