Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian boxer Jaismine Lamboria after her remarkable gold medal victory in the Women's 57kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

Sharing his message on social media, the Prime Minister praised Jaismine's dedication and consistency, acknowledging her outstanding achievement on the international stage.

Jaismine Lamboria clinched the gold medal with a commanding 5-0 unanimous decision over defending champion Michaela Walsh of Northern Ireland in the final at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).

Her victory marked India's second boxing gold medal of the day, following Preeti Pawar's triumph in the Women's 54kg category, highlighting another successful outing for Indian boxing at Glasgow 2026.
