PM Modi Congratulates Meloni on Historic Italy Tenure

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni on reaching a historic milestone as Italy’s longest continuously serving Prime Minister in the country’s postwar history.

In a message shared on social media, PM Modi described the milestone as a reflection of the trust and confidence placed in Meloni by the Italian people.

“Congratulations to my friend Prime Minister Meloni on becoming the longest continuously serving Prime Minister in Italy's postwar history,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister also highlighted Meloni’s contribution to strengthening relations between India and Italy, particularly the India-

Italy Special Strategic Partnership.
