PM Modi Praises ISRO’s Global Space Achievements

PM Modi addresses the International Space Summit in France via video conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the International Space Summit in France via video conferencing, highlighting India’s growing role in the global space sector and praising ISRO’s achievements in space exploration and satellite technology.

PM Modi said ISRO has earned global admiration for its excellence and cost-effective missions, with its capabilities supporting critical sectors including agriculture, fisheries, weather forecasting, disaster management and navigation.

The Prime Minister highlighted India’s growing contribution to the international space community, noting that more than 430 satellites from 34 countries have been launched aboard Indian rockets. He said ISRO’s technologies and international partnerships are serving not only India but the wider world.

PM Modi attributed this global confidence in India’s space capabilities to the dedication of generations of Indian scientists, engineers and technicians. He praised their tireless efforts in building ISRO’s reputation mission by mission and success by success, giving India a place of pride among the world’s space-faring nations.
