Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing at Hyderabad House in New Delhi for high-level bilateral talks aimed at further strengthening the longstanding relationship between the two neighbouring nations.

The leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including regional connectivity, economic cooperation, development initiatives, border security, and people-to-people exchanges. The meeting highlighted the deep historical, cultural, and civilizational ties shared by India and Myanmar, while reaffirming their commitment to advancing regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation under India's Act East Policy and fostering greater collaboration across strategic sectors to benefit the people of both countries and the wider region.
