PM Modi: Olympic Preparations Reflect India's Aspirations and Global Ambitions

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's growing ambitions on the global stage, stating that the country's preparations for hosting future Olympic events reflect the aspirations of a confident and emerging nation.

Addressing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Conclave, Prime Minister Modi said India must aim high and pursue ambitious goals with dedication and determination.

"Our preparations for the Olympics also reflect Indian aspirations. We must not think small; we must set high goals and put our heart and soul into achieving them," the Prime Minister said.

Highlighting the government's reform-driven approach, Modi described India's development journey as being powered by what he called the "Reform Express."

"Today India is racing ahead aboard the 'Reform Express.' For us, reform is not a compulsion; it is our conviction," he said.

The Prime Minister noted that reforms undertaken by the government are receiving consistent support from citizens, helping accelerate economic growth, infrastructure development, digital transformation, and India's rise as a global power.

Modi's remarks come as India continues to push for greater international engagement, strengthen its economy, and pursue major sporting ambitions, including a potential future bid to host the Olympic Games.

The Prime Minister reiterated that India's progress is driven by a vision of long-term growth, innovation, and national confidence, calling on citizens to embrace ambitious goals and contribute to the country's transformation.
