During the meeting, PM Modi recalled Putin’s visit to India last year, describing it as “highly successful and truly memorable.” He said it was a matter of deep satisfaction that cooperation between the two countries continues to “scale new heights.”

India Reiterates Call for Peace in Ukraine
The Ukraine conflict was also discussed during the bilateral talks. PM Modi reiterated India’s consistent appeal for peace and an early resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
India has maintained that dialogue and diplomacy are essential to finding a lasting solution to the conflict, while continuing its engagement with both Russia and other international partners.
