Reflecting on the visit, PM Modi said the bilateral relationship has been built on deep trust and shared progress over the past five decades. He expressed confidence that the next fifty years would be shaped by innovation, sustainability and shared prosperity.

The Prime Minister also expressed happiness at participating in Seychelles' National Day celebrations, which coincided with the country's 50th Independence anniversary. He thanked President Patrick Herminie, the Government and the people of Seychelles for their warm hospitality and affection.
