PM Modi Calls Seychelles Visit Highly Productive

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described his visit to Seychelles as highly productive, saying it delivered substantive outcomes that will further strengthen the longstanding friendship between India and Seychelles.

Reflecting on the visit, PM Modi said the bilateral relationship has been built on deep trust and shared progress over the past five decades. He expressed confidence that the next fifty years would be shaped by innovation, sustainability and shared prosperity.

The Prime Minister also expressed happiness at participating in Seychelles' National Day celebrations, which coincided with the country's 50th Independence anniversary. He thanked President Patrick Herminie, the Government and the people of Seychelles for their warm hospitality and affection.

PM Modi emphasized that the visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of both nations to deepen cooperation across strategic, economic, environmental and people-to-people sectors. He added that the outcomes of the visit would further strengthen the special partnership between the two Indian Ocean nations.

His visit marked another significant step in advancing India-Seychelles relations, with both countries reiterating their commitment to closer collaboration for regional stability, sustainable development and mutual prosperity.
