Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacting with CEOs and founders of Indian space startups

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during an interaction with CEOs and founders of space startups, emphasized the importance of trust, policy consistency and government support in strengthening India’s rapidly growing space ecosystem.

Addressing the entrepreneurs, PM Modi praised their courage to enter a new and challenging sector and said their decision to place trust in the government was particularly important.

The Prime Minister stressed that government decisions should remain consistent rather than changing frequently. According to him, policy stability gives entrepreneurs the confidence to take risks and invest in emerging technologies.

PM Modi said entrepreneurs understand that mistakes resulting from their own decisions are part of taking risks. However, they should have the assurance that the government will not abandon them when challenges arise.

He said building this sense of trust between the government and entrepreneurs is an important part of India’s effort to develop a stronger and more competitive space economy.

The interaction comes as India continues to expand participation by private companies and startups in space activities, with the government seeking to create a wider ecosystem for innovation, investment and technological development.
