PM Modi Welcomed in Nice with ‘Echoes of Tradition, Spirits of Innovation’ Performance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm and vibrant welcome upon his arrival at his hotel in Nice, France, where artists presented a captivating cultural performance titled “Echoes of Tradition, Spirits of Innovation.”

The artistic showcase featured three distinguished performers—Isabelle Anna performing Kathak, Chloé Romero presenting Odissi, and Marianna Biadene showcasing Bharatanatyam. Together, they beautifully blended the rhythmic precision of North India with the graceful expressions of Eastern and Southern Indian classical dance traditions.

Set to the composition Charishnu by renowned musician Pandit Madhup Mudgal, the performance celebrated India's timeless cultural heritage while highlighting its modern outlook and innovative spirit.

The presentation reflected the essence of a contemporary India—deeply rooted in its traditions yet confidently engaging with the world through art, culture, and meaningful dialogue. The event also underscored the growing cultural connections between India and France.

Prime Minister Modi is in France as part of his two-nation visit, during which he is scheduled to participate in key international engagements, including the G7 Summit and innovation-focused events aimed at strengthening global partnerships.
