The visiting dignitaries were accorded a formal welcome with full state honours, marking the beginning of President Lee’s official visit to India. The ceremony underscored the deepening ties between India and South Korea, particularly under their Special Strategic Partnership.

The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors including trade, technology, defence, and cultural exchange. High-level talks and engagements are scheduled during the visit to enhance collaboration and explore new avenues of partnership.

President Lee’s visit highlights the growing importance of India-South Korea relations in the Indo-Pacific region and reflects the shared commitment of both nations to regional stability and economic growth.
