President Droupadi Murmu Bilaspur Visit Begins in Himachal Pradesh

The President Droupadi Murmu Bilaspur visit began in Himachal Pradesh as the President arrived in Bilaspur and was received by Governor Kavinder Gupta, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.

President Murmu is on a three-day visit to Himachal Pradesh from October 6 to 8, 2026, according to the President’s Secretariat.

President Murmu Arrives in Bilaspur

On her arrival in Bilaspur, President Droupadi Murmu was welcomed by senior state and central leaders.

Her Himachal Pradesh visit includes a series of scheduled engagements, beginning with an important programme in Bilaspur.

President to Attend AIIMS Bilaspur Convocation

President Murmu is scheduled to attend the first convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur, on October 6.

The convocation forms part of her official visit to the state.

Himachal Pradesh Visit Continues Until October 8

As part of the visit, President Murmu is also scheduled to visit the Atal Tunnel at Rohtang in Lahaul-Spiti district on October 7.

The President Droupadi Murmu Bilaspur visit marks the beginning of her three-day tour of Himachal Pradesh, which will continue through October 8.
