Indian boxer Priya Ghanghas secured the Bronze Medal in the Women’s 60kg boxing category at the 2026 Asian Games, adding another medal to India’s growing tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Games.
The Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) Core athlete produced a spirited campaign throughout the tournament before her run ended in the semifinals.
Priya faced China’s Yang Chengyu in a closely contested semifinal. Yang Chengyu secured a 1-4 split-decision victory to advance to the final, while Priya finished with the bronze medal.
