Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to B. R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Babasaheb’s vision for India. In a message shared on social media, Rahul Gandhi said that Dr. Ambedkar not only gifted the nation its Constitution but also envisioned a strong India rooted in justice, equality, and dignity. However, he expressed concern that certain forces are attempting to weaken Ambedkar’s legacy, alleging that democratic institutions are being eroded and fundamental rights undermined. Reaffirming his commitment, Gandhi stated that the nation is built on Babasaheb’s ideals and pledged to continue fighting to protect them. He called for collective efforts to restore the India envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar and extended heartfelt wishes to citizens on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti.
