Ritabrata Banerjee Launches Fresh Attack on Abhishek Banerjee, Questions His Role and Security Claims

Expelled TMC MLA Ritabrata Banerjee intensified his attack on Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee, claiming that the Diamond Harbour MP has no meaningful connection with either the party organization, the legislative wing, or the people of West Bengal.

Speaking to the media, Ritabrata alleged that Abhishek Banerjee has remained politically isolated and questioned his public standing in the state. He asserted that if Abhishek truly enjoyed public support, he would not have remained out of the public eye for an extended period following recent controversies.

Ritabrata further referred to an earlier statement made by Abhishek Banerjee in which he reportedly claimed that the people would ensure his security. However, the expelled MLA questioned the contradiction between that assertion and reports that Abhishek later sought enhanced security from the Central Government.

The remarks come amid growing political turbulence within the Trinamool Congress, with dissenting voices increasingly targeting the party's leadership structure and future direction. Ritabrata's comments are likely to further fuel political debate in West Bengal, where internal party dynamics have become a major talking point ahead of key organizational decisions.

The Trinamool Congress has not yet issued an official response to Ritabrata Banerjee's latest allegations.
