BJP leader Samik Bhattacharya lashes out at Trinamool Congress for not giving Rathyatra permission yet. At a press conference speaking on upcoming Rath Yatra of BJP, Samik Bhattacharya said,” Lal Krishna Advani did rath yatra decades back. That the the yatra was taken after we faced questions on nation’s identity. We had never tried to use Ram as political agenda. Neither LK Advani’s rath yatra was political. But yes, Bhartiya Janta party supporters participates in that Yatra. Our fight was against foreign invaders. There was never big incidents”.
Samik Bhattacharya added,” They are asking us for taking permission from district authorities. Now the ruling party and the government is same entity. We are doing this Rath Yatra politically, to throw the corrupted government from the state”.
