West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid her homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th Birthday. Uploading her post on Twitter this morning CM said, ” Homage to Desh Nayak Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in his 125th birthday. He was a true leader and strongly believed in unity of all people”. Mamata Banerjee also announced the state’s plan to observe this auspicious day. “The state govt. has decided to set up a committee to conduct year long celebrations till January 23rd 2022”. Apart from this CM said that a monument named after Azad Hind Fauj will be built in Rajarhat along with an University named after Netaji.
The state government has also organized a padyatra. “This year’s Republic Day parade will be dedicated yo Netaji.A siren will be soundee today at 12.15 pm .We urge everyone to blow shankh at home.Centre must also declare 23rd January as National holiday”, tweeted Mamata Banerjee.
