Suvendu Adhikari Condemns Attack on Police, Journalists
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has strongly condemned the attack on police personnel and journalists that took place in Kolkata on Friday.
In a statement shared on social media, the Chief Minister described the incident as a "brutal attack" by miscreants and assured that those responsible would face strict legal action.

Several journalists injured in the violence are currently undergoing treatment at SSKM Hospital. Suvendu Adhikari visited the hospital to meet the injured media personnel, enquired about their health, and directed officials to ensure they receive the best possible medical care.
The Chief Minister also said he has instructed the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata Police, to identify all those involved in the attack and initiate strict legal proceedings against them.
Adhikari reiterated that violence against police personnel and members of the media would not be tolerated and assured that the state government would take all necessary steps to bring the culprits to justice.
