Suvendu Adhikari RSS Schools Plan: 1,000 Vidya Bharati Schools Announced in Bengal

Suvendu Adhikari RSS Schools plan has emerged as a major announcement in West Bengal's education sector, with a target of establishing 1,000 schools run by Vidya Bharati, the education wing associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), across the state within the next year.

According to a report published by The Times of India, the announcement was made by Suvendu Adhikari while addressing an event organised to mark the 74th anniversary of Vidya Bharati at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture.

The proposed expansion is expected to cover districts, municipalities and panchayats across West Bengal.

1,000 RSS-Run Schools to Be Established

Under the Suvendu Adhikari RSS Schools plan, the target is to establish 1,000 schools associated with Vidya Bharati across West Bengal over the next one year.

The proposed schools are expected to be spread across different parts of the state, with the stated objective of ensuring a wider educational presence of Vidya Bharati.

The announcement comes as the state government discusses changes and reforms in school education, with a particular emphasis on Indian culture, traditions and values.

According to the information cited in the report, Vidya Bharati operates more than 12,000 schools across the country, along with around 10,000 Bal Sanskar Kendras.
