Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar takes a dig at central government on Farm law. Stating this law as dangerous and harmful for farmers, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar showed the dark side of the law.
While showing the way, how farmers will be deprived, Dastidar said, “Farmers will now be forced to sell their produce to the big corporates at the prices given by the companies. However, in the event of crop failure, these companies are not obliged to buy produce from farmers. Prices of vegetables such as potatoes and onions have skyrocketed as these have been taken off the essential commodities list”.
