Trump Claims Oil Prices Plunged $10 Amid Iran Conflict
US President Donald Trump has claimed that global oil prices have witnessed a historic single-day decline of $10, predicting a further fall as the United States continues its military campaign against Iran.
Speaking about the developments, Trump said oil prices had dropped by $10 in a single day, describing it as the biggest decline in history. He attributed the fall to what he described as the United States' military success against Iran.
Trump claimed that Iran's navy and air force had been destroyed and that the country was facing severe economic difficulties, including inflation exceeding 300 per cent. He further asserted that Tehran was interested in reaching a deal with Washington and suggested that an agreement could be possible.
"We're winning with Iran easily," Trump said, expressing confidence that oil prices would decline further.
His remarks come amid heightened geopolitical tensions surrounding the Iran conflict, with developments in the region continuing to influence global energy markets.
