US President Donald Trump speaks about Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and nuclear negotiations.

US President Donald Trump has said that negotiations with Iran are expected to move quickly, outlining the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz as the first priority before discussions shift to Tehran's nuclear program.

Speaking about the ongoing talks, Trump said the process was "not very complex" and stressed that the Strait should be "completely open" as soon as possible. He described this as the first phase of negotiations, with the second phase focusing on Iran's nuclear activities.

Reiterating Washington's long-standing position, Trump said the United States remains firm that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, underscoring that the issue remains central to any future agreement between the two sides.
