Trump Thanks India for Donald Trump Avenue in Hyderabad
U.S. President Donald Trump has thanked India after a road in Hyderabad, Telangana, was officially renamed Donald Trump Avenue in his honour.
Calling it a special gesture, Trump highlighted that he is the first U.S. President to have a road in India named after him.
Earlier, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu unveiled the plaque officially renaming the road beside the U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad as Donald Trump Avenue. The move has drawn international attention and marks a symbolic milestone in India-U.S. relations.
Trump acknowledged the honour and expressed gratitude to India for the recognition.
