Keralam Chief Minister-designate V. D. Satheesan said he views his elevation not as a personal achievement but as a “divine responsibility,” while emphasizing unity and teamwork in building a stronger Kerala.
Speaking after being named for the top post, Satheesan credited senior Congress leaders for their support and coordination during the process. He specifically acknowledged the role of K. C. Venugopal in managing party activities at the national level and described his support as “immense.” He also referred to Ramesh Chennithala as his leader, assuring that he would work in complete confidence with all party members.
Satheesan appealed for support from every section of society, stating that only collective efforts can help create a “new Keralam.” He stressed that meaningful progress cannot be achieved individually and that teamwork would be essential for the state’s development.
