Trinamool Congress leader and State Minister Bratya Basu addressed a press conference on Friday at Trinamool Congress Bhawan. He took a dig at BJP for asking double engine Government. Bratya Basu said,”This double engine Government is dangerous for federal structure. We are for the general people. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tripura is way behind our West Bengal. The only reason behind this is Mamata Banerjee”.
Bratya Basu added,”We would want to defeat BJP in 2024. The win in 2021 will help us to fight hard against BJP. They can’t arrange train for migrants but can afford chartered flight for our leaders”.
He concluded, “Gujarat has triple engine, with Prime Minister, Home minister and Chief minister but still they are way behind us. Those who were against Harichand Thakur,Guruchand Thakur, now they are willing to give citizenship to them. In BJP ruled states women are tortured. But here you can oppose but still you don’t feel unsafe”.
