Since the performance of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2022, it is undergoing rapid changes. Even the selection committee is being changed. Shiv Sundar Das
Shiv Sunder Das has applied for the new selection committee. He is currently working with Punjab as the batting coach. Prior to this, she served as the coach of the National Cricket Academy and the Indian women’s team. If Das is selected, he will replace his former Odisha teammate Debasish Mohanty.
Nayan Mongia
Among the new applicants, Nayan Mongia has applied. He has previously served on the Baroda selection committee at both the junior and senior levels. He is one of the experienced candidates having played 44 Tests and 140 ODIs.
Maninder Singh
Maninder Singh is a former Indian cricket player and cricket commentator. He has played 35 Test matches and 59 One Day Internationals for India.
L Sivaramakrishnan
Laxman Sivaramakrishnan is a former Indian cricketer and current cricket commentator. During his cricket career, he was a right-arm leg-spinner. Sivaramakrishnan made his commentary debut on 12 November 2000 in a Test match between India and Bangladesh. Now he has applied for the BCCI selection committee.
Ajay Ratra
Ajay Ratra is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He made his ODI debut on 19 January 2002 against England. Ratra was selected as a selector of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore in 2000.
Sameer Dighe and others
Sameer Dighe and Salil Ankola from Mumbai, as well as Gyanendra Pandey from Uttar Pradesh and Ritinder Sodhi from Punjab have shown interest in the position. However, Ajit Agarkar, one of the few high-profile candidates from the previous round, has not applied this time.
