India Vs Australia 3rd T20I Highlights: In the 4th match of the ongoing T20I played at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium yesterday,
hosts India registered their third win against opponents Australia. This marks the 3 rd victory for the
Indian side, having won the first two matches at Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram. With this,
the hosts have also achieved the series win in T20I. The final match will be played at Bengaluru on
December 03 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
It was Axar Patel’s triple strike and Ravi Bishnoi’s splendid spell that enabled India to against Australia in
Raipur and complete the series victory. Bishnoi gave the first breakthrough to dismiss Josh Philippe. Axar
got the big wicket of Travis Head. The left-arm spinner then followed it with Aaron Hardie and Ben
McDermott’s wickets.
Earlier, Rinku Singh, the highest run scorer for India, and Jitesh Sharma racked in some hefty numbers to
help India recover after the top four were dismissed within 14 overs. Rinku smashed a 29-ball 46, while
Jitesh made a 19-ball 35 to help India post 174/9.
Shreyas Iyer had a short-lived comeback, however, the young and intent-driven team ensured that the
series wrapped up nicely in favor of India.
