Assembly Election Results 2023 are out for 4 of the 5 states where elections were held recently. They
are Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Telangana. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has
established its lead in 3 states – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. In Telangana, the
Congress Party is maintaining a lead over the BRS, defeating the incumbent Chief Minister, K
Chandrasekhar Rao, who was aiming for a hattrick.
In the state of Mizoram, counting has been postponed by a day basis by pleas made by local political
parties as the original date was on a Sunday (December 03,2023) when most of the Christian population
of the state goes to churches.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address BJP party workers on the 3:1 state victory result that is
emerging. Senior BJP spokespersons have quoted as saying that the wins are an indication of the Prime
Minister’s vision of a strong and resilient nation in all respects.
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Bharatiya Janata Party stands committed to welfare
of backward. He added, Today’s result indicates a tectonic shift in the polity of India. There is just 1
guarantee in the country that everyone believes in – the guarantee of Modi. Our party’s politics is all
about development and the welfare of people.”
Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle,” The BJP government is arriving to
change the fortunes of the marudhara (desert) region for the better in a massive way.”
