The grand finale of Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI 2026 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre was more than just the end of a fashion season—it was a powerful showcase of creativity and innovation. The day began with Pearl Academy’s thought-provoking presentation exploring the fusion of human creativity and artificial intelligence, highlighting how emerging designers are embracing technology. Max Fashion followed with its lively “Unserious Everything” collection, celebrating freedom, comfort, and playful style. The runway came alive with stars like Alaya F in a retro-inspired look, Kalki Koechlin in elegant minimalism, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, who added theatrical energy and charm to the show.
A major highlight of the evening was Aditi Rao Hydari’s debut as co-creative director for Satya Paul, where she presented a collection blending the brand’s iconic motifs with modern silhouettes, marking her successful entry into fashion design. However, it was Péro’s grand finale that truly stole the spotlight. Designer Aneeth Arora’s collection, “Out of Office,” beautifully depicted the transition from routine to freedom, with a whimsical and handcrafted aesthetic. Aneet Padda, Lakmé’s Gen Z face, opened and closed the show as the showstopper, embodying the spirit of the modern working woman—confident, expressive, and free-spirited—bringing the evening to a memorable close.
