Manchester United were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in the Premier League’s Saturday match at Old Trafford.
Manchester United took the lead with a ferocious Anthony Martial strike two minutes before half-time. But Rafa Benitez’s visitors hit back with a leveller after 65 minutes with a goal from Andros Townsend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had freshened up his XI from the team that had dramatically beaten Villarreal 2-1 late on in the Champions League last Wednesday.
Andros Townsend scored for the third time in four matches to earn Everton a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Townsend, who scored for Crystal Palace at the same venue last season, converted an Abdoulaye Doucoure pass at the end of a swift counter-attack started by Demarai Gray in the 65th minute.
Anthony Martial had put Man Utd ahead just before half-time when he curled home his first Premier League goal since February from a Bruno Fernandes pass.
Solskjaer made two early changes after the break, bringing on Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho for Martial and Cavani in the 56th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench in the second half but was unable to find a winner on his 200th Premier League appearance.
It was Everton who thought they had won it late on but Yerry Mina’s close-range finish from a Tom Davies pass was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.

Man Utd and Everton sit third and fourth respectively, both on 14 points.
“If we have everybody available and continue with the same team spirit, we can win more games.
“Hopefully, we can bring back some players but be sure that we keep the same mentality, the same commitment, the same intensity."@rafabenitezweb 🔵 #MUNEVE pic.twitter.com/Bq4FmrOr1L
