RCB against CSK in IPL 2022 Highlights: Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Chennai Super Kings by 13 runs in IPL 2022 Match 49 at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Wednesday. CSK were reduced to 160 for eight in 20 overs while chasing a score of 174.
Devon Conway top-scored for CSK with 56 runs, while Moeen Ali added 34 runs in rapid succession. Harshal Patel claimed three wickets for RCB, while Glenn Maxwell also took two. Earlier, Mahipal Lomror’s quickfire 42, followed by Dinesh Karthik’s 26-run cameo, helped RCB reach a total of 173 for eight.
RCB got off to a flying start in the powerplay after being called into bat first, with openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis adding 62 runs for the first wicket. In the eighth over, Moeen Ali gave CSK the breakthrough by dismissing Faf. CSK seized command of the proceedings, followed by Glenn Maxwell and Kohli.
