Senior Congress leader V. D. Satheesan has been elected as the leader of the Kerala Congress Legislature Party (CLP) following extensive discussions within the party leadership.
Speaking on the decision, Congress leader Ajay Maken said the selection came after detailed consultations with the party president, MLAs, MPs, and senior leaders. He stated that the party held “intense discussions” before arriving at the final decision regarding Satheesan’s leadership role.
The development is being seen as a significant move for the Congress party in Kerala as it prepares to strengthen its organizational and political strategy in the state.
