Abhijeet Dipke Calls CJP an Independent Pressure Group, Rules Out Party Registration
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has described the organisation as an independent pressure group, saying it shares a common cause with the INDIA bloc in opposing alleged electoral irregularities.
Speaking to the media in Nagpur, Dipke alleged that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar was rigging elections and helping Prime Minister Narendra Modi remain in power. These allegations were made by Dipke and have not been independently established.
Clarifying the organisation’s position, Dipke said that the Cockroach Janta Party would continue to function as an independent pressure group. However, he stressed that its independent identity did not mean it was opposed to the INDIA bloc.
“Our and the INDIA bloc's agitations are for a common cause,” Dipke said, highlighting the shared objectives behind their respective protests.
When asked whether the CJP was planning to register itself as a political party, Dipke rejected the suggestion, stating, “No, there is nothing like that.”
His remarks underline the organisation’s stated intention to remain an independent pressure group while participating in agitations around issues it considers a common cause with the INDIA bloc.
