Amit Shah Challenges Rahul Gandhi to Let Parliament Function, Offers Discussion on SIR
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the Narendra Modi-led government is ready to discuss every issue in Parliament, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, and challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to allow parliamentary proceedings to function smoothly.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi, Amit Shah stated that the government was prepared to hold discussions on all matters and specifically offered to discuss the SIR issue. He emphasised that Parliament is meant for meaningful debates and discussions, urging the Opposition to allow the House to function rather than disrupting proceedings.

Taking a sharp dig at the Congress leader, the BJP criticised Rahul Gandhi for allegedly disrupting parliamentary proceedings and questioned his approach to parliamentary debates. The party maintained that the government remains open to addressing issues on the floor of Parliament, while calling for constructive engagement and fact-based discussions.
