Union Home Minister Amit Shah welcomes the budgetary provision for West Bengal. On 1st February, budget was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Later in the day Amit Shah tweeted, “For the development of West Bengal and for the benefit of the people there, Modiji has announced a grant of Rs 25,000 crore through the budget released today, through which 65 km of highways will be constructed. Along with this, Rs. 1000 cr is given for the benefit of workers in tea gardens of Bengal and Assam”.
