Suvendu Adhikari Leads ‘Ashirbad Ka Diya’ Programme in Kolkata on PM Modi’s Birthday
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari inaugurated the ‘Ashirbad Ka Diya’ programme at Baje Kadamtala Ghat in Kolkata on September 17, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
On the occasion of the 76th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Shri Suvendu Adhikari, inaugurated the ‘Ashirbad Ka Diya’ programme today at Baje Kadamtala Ghat in Kolkata.

As part of the programme, one lakh lamps were lit to commemorate the Prime Minister’s public service journey and convey wishes for a stronger and more developed India. Reports also said the ‘Ashirbad-er Diya’ initiative was organised as part of wider birthday-related programmes in West Bengal.
The programme formed part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, under which various public welfare and service-oriented initiatives are being undertaken across the state to mark the Prime Minister’s birthday.
The celebrations highlighted themes of public service and social participation, alongside programmes being organised across West Bengal.
