BJP Rajya Sabha bypoll candidates West Bengal

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the names of Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev, and Prakash Chik Baraik as its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha bypolls in West Bengal.

The announcement comes shortly after the three former Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MPs joined the BJP, marking a significant political development in the state.
By fielding Roy, Dev and Baraik, the BJP has signalled its intent to strengthen its presence in the Upper House while consolidating its political gains in West Bengal.

The Rajya Sabha bypolls are expected to draw significant political attention as the BJP and the TMC continue to battle for influence in the state following recent political realignments.
