Linda Noskova Storms Into Maiden Wimbledon Final

By Editorial Team

Ninth seed Linda Noskova continued her impressive grass-court form by defeating 12th seed Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday to book her place in the 2026 Wimbledon women's singles final.

The 21-year-old Czech delivered a composed and clinical performance from the baseline on her Centre Court debut, securing the biggest victory of her career. Fresh from lifting the Berlin Open title just three weeks ago, Noskova has carried her momentum into the All England Club in remarkable fashion.

The win sets up a historic all-Czech Wimbledon final against 10th seed Karolina Muchova, who earlier stunned Coco Gauff to reach her maiden championship match at SW19.

With her run to the final, Noskova becomes the youngest women's Wimbledon finalist since 2014. Regardless of Saturday's result, she is guaranteed to break into the WTA Top 10 for the first time in her career, climbing to a career-high World No. 8.

Saturday's final promises to be a landmark occasion for Czech tennis as two rising stars battle for their first Wimbledon singles title.
