Brazil Cruise Past Haiti 3-0 to Lead Group C

Matheus Cunha's two strikes on his first start in the World Cup helped Brazil blow away Haiti 3-0 in a Group C encounter in Philadelphia.

Cunha scored in the 23rd and 36th minute before Vinicius Junior added a third on the brink of halftime to take home three points.

Matheus Cunha's first goal was just his second senior international goal for Brazil and his first at the World Cup. His double helped Brazil overtake Germany as the highest scoring country in World Cup history with 240 goals.

After a disappointing 1-1 draw in their opening game, Brazil put up a much improved display to soar to the top spot, ahead of Morocco on goal difference.

The five-time champions will take on Scotland in their final group stage game while Morocco will face Haiti, who were eliminated after succumbing to their second successive defeat.

Player of the Match: Vinicius Jr (Brazil)
