State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee on Wednesday said that if the authorities feel right, then Vidya Devi Maa Saraswati can be worshiped in colleges and universities.
However, Colleges and Universities are currently running online classes. “This will continue for at least the next one month. After a month, the situation will be reviewed and a decision will be taken again”, said Education Minister. He met the vice-chancellors of state universities on Wednesday. After that meeting, the education minister said, the college-university is not opening now. He will meet again with the vice-chancellors next March.
