Crack in Bengali legendary writer Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay’s house. In recent days a new multiplex has been built near his house. For last couple of years, the house is in damaged condition.
Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay’s grandson has lodged a written letter to Barackpore’s Subdivisional office. Officer AK Azad Islam assured them of taking action , but six months have passed. Still no action has been taken. Now Bibhutibhusan Banerjee’s grandson is afraid of getting buried in case the house breakdown.. The drainage system has also been blocked. Wife of legendary writer, Rama Banerjee lived her for lifetime. Her son, Taradas Banerjee has wrote many books here. His family is pity disturbed with the issue and has raied their voice against Barackpore municipality chairman. Though the Chairman has said, they are taking necessary steps.
