The match at Alawwal Park also marked Ronaldo’s 100th Saudi Pro League appearance, a milestone he marked by scoring his 96th and 97th goals in the competition.
The Return and the Milestone
Starting for the first time in over a month, Ronaldo showed no signs of rust. In the 56th minute, he calmly converted a penalty to net his 966th career goal. He followed it up in the 73rd minute, smashing home a clinical finish after a pass from Nawaf Boushal to reach the 967-goal mark.
Second-Half Dominance
Despite Al Najma taking a shock lead through Rakan Rajeh in the 44th minute, Al Nassr responded with a relentless attacking display:
Abdullah Al-Hamdan (45+8′) and Sadio Mané (45+9′) turned the tide just before halftime.
Ronaldo’s Brace (56′, 73′) blew the game open in the second half.
Sadio Mané completed his own brace in stoppage time (90+5′) to seal the 5-2 win.
League Standings
With this victory, Al Nassr moves six points clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League table, putting immense pressure on Al-Hilal.
