ECI Adds 4,660 Auxiliary Polling Stations in West Bengal to Boost Voter Convenience
To enhance voter convenience ahead of the upcoming Assembly Elections in West Bengal, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has approved the creation of 4,660 auxiliary polling stations in areas where the number of voters exceeded 1,200. ECI Adds 4,660 Auxiliary Polling Stations in West Bengal to Boost Voter Convenience In addition, the ECI has sanctioned the relocation of 321 polling stations to improve accessibility and ensure smoother voting for citizens. With the inclusion of these auxiliary polling stations, the total number of polling stations in West Bengal has now reached 85,379, reflecting the Commission’s effort to strengthen electoral infrastructure and facilitate higher voter participation.
