Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said he held extensive discussions with defence industry leaders from Germany and India on the growing opportunities in the defence sector, emphasizing the vast potential for deeper industrial cooperation.
Sharing details on social media, Singh said industry leaders appreciated India’s ongoing defence industrial reform trajectory and the expanding opportunities for collaboration under the country’s strategic manufacturing push.
The minister urged German industries to co-develop and co-produce niche technologies with India, stressing that such partnerships would help secure national interests while contributing to global stability and resilience.
The discussions are being seen as part of a broader effort to strengthen India-Germany defence ties, with focus areas expected to include advanced technologies, joint production frameworks, and long-term strategic cooperation.

The outreach also aligns with India’s emphasis on boosting indigenous defence manufacturing while expanding international partnerships in critical technology sectors.
