U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that China is “very happy” with his decision to permanently open the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the move benefits both China and the wider world.
He further said that he took the decision to ensure the situation “will never happen again” and asserted that an agreement has been reached to stop the supply of weapons to Iran.
Trump also suggested that Chinese President Xi Jinping would express appreciation during their upcoming meeting, highlighting what he described as improving cooperation between Washington and Beijing.
