The big day of the Ram Temple consecration is here and as reported, it is going to be a
busy day for air traffic as celebrities from all over the country are flying in to Ayodhya.
Some have already reached the temple city and have immersed themselves in activities
as the countdown to the Pran Pratisthha has begun.
Here is a lowdown on what we have at the moment –
Amitabh Bachchan
Dressed in a white kurta-pajama, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was spotted in a car
outside the Mumbai airport on Monday morning. He left for Ayodhya to be a part of the
Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav today.
Sachin Tendulkar
Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar waved and acknowledged the waiting paparazzi as he left
Mumbai for Ayodhya. The cricket legend will be in the temple city for the Pran
Pratishtha Mahotsav today.
Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi
Telugu actors Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi were seen boarding a private plane in
Hyderabad for Ayodhya. Both were dressed in traditional attire and surrounded by
security personnel. Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi waved at waiting fans as they walked
on the tarmac to board the plane along with their families.
Rajinikanth and Dhanush
South superstars Rajinikanth and Dhanush flew out to Ayodhya, a day before the grand
opening of the Ram Temple. Both were swarmed by fans upon reaching Chennai airport
for their flight.
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram
Newlyweds Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram greeted media outside the airport before
flying to Ayodhya. Hooda joined the Jai Shri Ram chants with the paparazzi. On being
asked about the inauguration, Randeep Hooda said, "’s a big day for India."
Anupam Kher
Well-known veteran actor and lead of The Kashmir Files, Anupam Kher also flew out to
Ayodhya on Sunday. The actor posted a video of himself inside the flight holding a
saffron flag. After touching down, he posted on Instagram, "I have reached Ayodhya
with all the Ram devotees. There was an atmosphere of great devotion in the plane. We
are blessed. Our country is blessed! Jai Shri Ram!”
Leading Bollywood Couples
Well-known Bollywood couples Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif
and actor Madhuri Dixit Nene- Shriram Nene were seen outside Mumbai airport before
flying out to Ayodhya. They were all in Indian ethnic wear. The ladies, wearing
resplendent saris and men in kurta pajamas, greeted paparazzi with folded hands.
Kangana Ranaut
Actresses Kangana Ranaut reached Ayodhya on yesterday. She took part in a
cleanliness drive at an Ayodhya temple. Dressed in a red and gold silk saree, Ranaut
was seen sweeping the floors at the Hanuman Garhi Temple. "Ayodhya has been
decorated like a bride. Bhajans and yagna are being organised at many places. It feels
like we have reached Dev Lok;…cannot say anything about those who do not wish to
come and be a part of this…It feels really good to be in Ayodhya right now, she told
news agencies.
