Hand-written note from Amitabh Bachchan stirs Ajay Devgn’s emotions

by Kolkata Today

Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 co-star, has given him a valuable gesture of appreciation for his outstanding efforts as the project’s director. The public has overwhelmingly loved the film, which was released in theatres on Friday, but receiving a note from the megastar undoubtedly surpasses all of the accolades for the actor-director.

On social media, the director and star of Runway 34 shared a note from Amitabh Bachchan with his fans, expressing his joy at receiving it.

“Ajay! Ajay! Ajay!” Amitabh wrote to Singham in a message penned on the day of Runway 34’s premiere. It’s an incredible honour to be a part of ’34’ and to be a part of such a wonderful director’s gift.

Your work is excellent, and the way you’ve put it all together is simply amazing. They say it’s your best, but I’m sure there will be many more ‘bests’ in the future — Congratulations! Amitabh Bachchan is one of my favourite actors.”

In the description of the photo, Ajay also conveyed his sentiments, expressing his delight in having directed Bollywood’s biggest actor in Runway 34. “It is a privilege that is hard to convey in words when the legendary and gracious Amitabh Bachchan stars in your directorial endeavour,” Ajay wrote.

And it stirs feelings that are a heady combination of gratitude, calm pride, and pleasure when he utilises his genuine words in a hand-written message of thanks. Thank you so much, Amit ji!”

Runway 34 started off slowly at the box office, but the positive reviews are expected to draw in a large number of additional viewers in the following days. Ajay’s third directorial earned Rs. 3 crores on its first day. The film’s box office performance has remained low due to stiff competition from K.G.F Chapter 2, which is still running strong, and the clash with Tiger Shroff’s actioner Heropanti 2, which did marginally better than Runway 34 on Day 1.
