Rajasthan Tourism conducted an informative roadshow on the first day of TTF Kolkata at Uttirno, Alipore, exclusively for travel trade and media. Dr Manisha Arora, Additional Director Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan made a vibrant presentation on the latest offerings from the colourful state of Rajasthan. She emphasized that Rajasthan has always been very close to the hearts of the Bengalis and Rajasthan is very proud of this fact. She also informed the travel agents and local media about the new tourism policy announced by the State government. The new tourism policy launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister, who also happens to hold the charge of Tourism, aims at mitigating the adverse impact of COVID on the tourism industry and give impetus in coming days through various incentives and promotional strategies. Rajasthan Tourism delegation consists of Joint Director of Tourism Anand Kumar Tripathi and DCF Forest Department Ajit Uchoi. The delegation will remain at TTF Kolkata for three days to meet the local travel trade and media and apprise them of various measures taken by the State Government to safeguard the interest of tourists in Rajasthan and places of tourist interest, especially less know places and destinations.
