The union water resources minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat termed Bangla as a “Capital of the violence against women”. The union minister made this comment during a visit at Habra, the assembly area of the state food minister Jyotipriya Mallick while conducting BJP’s Griha-Samparka Avijan programme on Saturday. The central minister came down heavily on Trinamool government alleging deterioration of law and order situation in Bengal. Shekhawat joined the programme conducted at Habra’s Phultala Hanapara village.
He also held a public meeting at a tribal area. While addressing the meeting, he alleged that the several central governments schemes weren’t implemented in the state. The union minister also raised his voice against the alleged corruption against Trinamool Congress government. Shekhawat also expressed his grave concern about the mud houses in the tribal area. He visited some areas and would also join the chai pe charcha at Habra railway station area on Saturday evening.
