IIM Amritsar has opened registrations for the 6th batch of its Executive MBA program for the 2026 admission cycle.

The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar has begun the registration process for its Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme for the upcoming academic cycle. This two-year MBA is tailored for working professionals aiming to advance their leadership capabilities in today’s complex global business landscape. The sixth cohort was officially launched during an event led by Director Prof. Samir K. Srivastava, with Prof. Vartika Dutta, Chairperson of the Executive MBA programme, along with senior faculty members and institutional leaders in attendance. According to IIM Amritsar an official press statement, the programme adopts a blended learning approach that combines interactive online classes with three on-campus immersion modules in Amritsar. It also includes an international component in Denmark, where participants engage in a structured executive bootcamp. This global exposure provides insights into sustainable business practices, innovation-driven enterprises, and collaborative governance systems. The programme is intended for mid-career professionals, senior leaders, and entrepreneurs with 3 to 15+ years of experience across sectors such as IT, consulting, banking and financial services, energy, manufacturing, and the public sector. Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Srivastava emphasized that executive education at IIM Amritsar goes beyond traditional learning. He noted that the EMBA aims to develop globally conscious and ethically grounded leaders who can navigate complexity with clarity, supported by a combination of international exposure, practical learning, and strong academic foundations.
